I waited to the last day of the Back-to-School sale at TRSI to see if anything popped up on daily deals since I knew the rest of the manga I was going to order would get free shipping, instead of daily deals I got to combine sales as the CMX sale started and neither requires a coupon code so I got the following manga:

Summit of the Gods Vol. 1-2
Times of Botchan Vol. 1-4
Presents Vol. 2-3

From Amazon's marketplace:

Hare + Guu Vol.5

I bought it there because RightStuf had all seven volumes, except this one. Awaiting the rest, plus lots more anime..

Looks like a really nice cabinet. Take some pictures once you have it all setup!

Just an update on my purchase from Right Stuf.

In the blind boxes I got:

Haruhi LE Vol. 2 (Kept the pencil board, CD, and Armband) sold the
DVD since I allready have the whole series (and if I wanted to watch in "broadcast" order then I could just shuffle the discs).
The box was slightly dented.

Eureka Seven vol. 6 (with Artbox) (kept the T-Shirt) sold the DVD since I am not really interested in this show. The artbox was really
flimsy, and was slightly dented. It had a price tag on the box that
looked like a Best Buy price tag.

Not really worth the $ IMO, they only gave me like 13.50 for the 2
DVDs, the Eureka Seven manga (that came in the box as well), and the Thin-pack of Final Fantasy Unlimited (at Hastings). I used it towards buying DragonQuest 9 for the DS. They did not take the CD, or another DS game I was trying to trade in (Puzzle Quest: Galactrix).

I have to say, I find the whole concept of "blind boxes" to be kinda bizarre. Maybe I'm just too prosaic (or cheap) a consumer, but I like to know what I'm getting when I buy something, even if the outlay isn't particularly high.

Sweet! My recent eBay victory arrived today. I was the winning bidder for this:

18 beautiful Cardcaptor Sakura DVDs in perfect condition. I've already tested them to ensure they load and play properly. And I spent less than what Amazon Marketplace sellers are asking for the set. Well, unless you count that one bootleg that's listed.

Couple the TV series with these ...

... which I picked up on Marketplace a few weeks ago, and I am a happy Cardcaptor Sakura fan. Very Happy Very Happy

Though I profess no interest in the series, I expect murph76 is now gazed upon through many a green eye.

...I'm officially envious of you Murph. Gah.

However, besides that...for the first time today, I got to go to Mitsuwa. ^^ Made me so happy! So besides stocking up on Pocky and Ramune soda, I picked up Akuma to Love Song Vols. 4-6. Probably would've picked up the remaining volumes they've had, but didn't have the money. Next time!

Remember to seek out the 'hidden' Kero-chan special in that CCS movie 2 DVD, murph. It's an absolute riot (assuming you haven't already seen it.)

I was going to buy some things from the CMX sale, but they didn't have much in-stock, and attempting to order out of stock OOP titles seems a bit like wasted effort.

Yeah, that was great. Finding it was a bit annoying, since it's advertised prominently on the packaging, yet it's hidden on the disc. Seems silly to me.

o3o wow murph76 those are lovely looking~ did the movies come with the pencil boards? I'd be totally jealous ouo except i already own both book sets which i picked up when they were first released. (ediT: actually i still am jealous, i did have the singles for a while but the cases on the volumes i had were warped and gross. :S )

and since murph76 is showing off his/her new but previously owned magical girl DVDs >A> i want to show off too~ I said earlier i bought All of Fushigi Boshi No Futago Hime First Press DVDs used off Madarake ouo i got the dvds a couple days ago... but my camera is my phone so the photo's aren't as nice.
DVDs - box veiw 1 -box view 2

/not that any one actually cares about Fushigi Boshi unlike CCS/
