Although we did finally get my husband a 3DS (bought for $30) and we each found a few different games, so I guess that kinda makes up for not finding any other anime or manga.

That is quite a steal! Was it in a serviceable condition at such a price? Being so inexpensive, I would be tempted to obtain one to use as a portable emulator.
It's actually in really great condition. There was some light scuffing to the outer casing, but the screens, buttons, and control stick were all great. The biggest complaints my husband has towards it is the stylus being too small (something we will likely be replacing) and that he has issues with getting things to click properly on the touch screen. Although I played with it myself and had no issues; I think it's a personal issue with him, and not an issue with the system itself. Razz

Since my sister lives near some cool places (and I'm stuck watching her stupid cat, as opposed to my super awesome cat), I got Gungrave PS2 from a local boutique games store. I'd been wanting that game ever since the anime was so awesome, and I'm kind of not expecting the game to be the same (after all, the anime is mostly drama flashback), but the anime also had this clear boss rush segment too. Either way, curious enough indeed.
And she has a Books a Million near her, which had a bargain pile full on Seven Seas titles (what is with those things always falling bargain title?):
Arpeggio of Blue Steel 1,2
Dictatorial Grimoire 1,2,3
Girls und Panzer 1,2

And these were $4 a piece, a price I can live with. I've heard Arpeggio is supposed to be a lot better than it looks and be genuinely good and not just seem like normal cute girls Seven Seas fare, so at that price, I'll give it a shot. Just curious on the others, because why not?
I plan to hit some other places tomorrow, in a different direction from today's shopping.

Oh gawd, I've bought so much stuff the past few days, damn you, me!

Anime
VOTOMs set 1 and 2

Manga
7th Garden 1
Ancient Magus' Bride 5
Certain Scientific Railgun 11
Complex Age 1
Corpse Party 1
Devil is a Part Timer manga 5
Devil's Line 1
Fruits Basket 1, 2
Inuyashiki 4
Kaze Hikaru 24
(because yes, someone actually does buy this series)
Master Keaton 5, 7
Mushoku Tensei 3
My Love Story 9
Not Lives 2
Princess Jellyfish 2
Void's Enigmatic Mansion 4
What Did You Eat Yesterday? 10
World Trigger 11

Comics
Saga 6
Skullkickers 5
Valerian and Laureline 10
Wet Moon 1
X-O Manowar 2

Damn, four blind buy vol 1s for new manga series, bad, zawa, bad! I'm not counting Fruits Basket in there, because as soon as I heard that Yen licensed it (and Twinkle Stars, which I am perhaps more excited for as I have not yet read it), I sold my Tokyopop set for maximum monies, so it's not a blind buy by my definition.
Also, I do not need those two VOTOMs sets. They're the first 2 arcs (27 eps, according to the second set), so half of the show, but they are tough to find, so if you want a good deal on them, pm me! Set 2 isn't that rare, but set 1 definitely is (but I'm only selling them as a set of two)

Just got back from Anime Midwest! It was a lot of fun, but very tiring... and expensive. Sadly, they had a strong lack of manga dealers, so we ended up going to a local Half Price Books afterwards (which kinda worked out)... Anyway!

Picked up a couple of Cardcaptor Sakura mystery box figures and a new Dark Magician Girl figure. Also bought the Ciel Phantomhive POP! figure.

Anime:
Black Butler: Book of Murder OVAs DVD/Blu-Ray (actually got this with trading in the manga I bought at my library's book sale last month and a few games; even got a dollar back on top of it!)
Samurai Champloo DVD Complete Series (Funi's re-release; I really liked watching this on Toonami and will eventually re-watch it)

Manga:
Alice in the Country of the Joker: Circus and Liar's Game Vol. 1
Fushigi Yugi: The Mysterious Play Vol. 3
Vampire Knight Official Fan Book

Picked up two slice of life titles that I never got around to purchasing. Thanks to WTK for the info about the 2 for $14 sale at GoHastings. Tamayura: Hitotose and Sketchbook: Full Color's will be in my hands soon.

I've also picked up a few figures, most notably Rourna/Lorna from Shining Hearts which I've been trying to find at a decent price for ages.
