Yeah, there's not a huge amount jumping out at me so far this year. Sentai had their usual absurd discounts, and I put in an order there, but I'm pretty much scraping the bottom of their barrel as far as things I actually want from them. FUNi just has a few select deals up, though I may jump on the Yu Yu Hakusho BD bundle. And RightStuf's discounts aren't super-spectacular as a whole; a lot of their stuff is only 50% off, which is comparable to a normal sale. I don't know whether to be disappointed or relieved.
Here's what I grabbed from Sentai, at least: Cobra the Animation Complete Collection BD Short Peace BD Vampire Hunter D BD Taisho Baseball Girls BD Made in Abyss BD (this was the main attraction by far) |

My harvest from the Sentai sale fields:
Black Bullet BD Celestial Method BD Fate/Kaleid Liner 2wei! BD Fate/Kaleid Liner 2wei Herz! BD Flip Flappers BD (standard edition) Hayate the Combat Butler S1 BD Hayate the Combat Butler S2 BD Kokoro Connect TV+OVA BD Little Busters! Refrain BD Little Busters! EX BD Mashiro-iro Symphony DVD To Heart 2 BD Guess I should start with the end of the alphabet when adding items to the cart next time. If Sentai's intent on phasing out DVD, I wish they'd put out Blu-Rays for some of these late-00s series that have BDs available in Japan, like Mashiro-iro Symphony, 11eyes (though I may have also bought that if it weren't out of stock), and Croisee in a Foreign Labyrinth.
Threshold is $75, and they seem to accept Paypal. Last edited by Zalis116 on Sat Nov 24, 2018 7:15 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Went for some online sales! I expect I might place another RS order tomorrow, as they should have a new set of items added! But one thing I wanted was in the Viz manga specials so...
From Right Stuf Again! vol 5 Digimon Adventure Tri movie 4 BD (just need movie 6 now! Yes, there's that mega set with all 6, but since I was only missing 2 at that time, cheaper to get those missing 2 at this point. Kuroko's Basketball 29/30 (final vol! I was debating if I wanted to wait for my comic shop to get this in, but the difference was maybe 30 cents, so I went ahead and got it here) That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime vol 6-8 What Did You Eat Yesterday? vol 13 But! I also got some things from the Sentai sale! Gatchaman Crowds Insight BD Garo live-action TV series 1 (and also the movies that come after it) Time Jam: Valerian & Laureline DVD (I had been waiting for this one to be under $10 for a while now! At $6, I couldn't possibly resist! It's a fun sci-fi episodic adventure series if anyone is curious about it, good to get to free shipping) Oh and I also got a few RPGs from Gamestop Horizon: Zero Dawn Complete Edition PS4 Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly Vita Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk Vita Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey Redux 3DS |

I'll pass on Sentai then. Many of their titles are on Crunchyroll, thus I can see them at some point down the line with my subscription being active. Also in spite of the titles being slightly more costly, it isn't too much to the detriment of my wallet to get up to the $50 threshold for free shipping on Rightstuf, as well as the added benefit of being able to purchase stuff from all active anime distributors. |

Did some shopping over the Black Friday weekend, but not much in the way of anime and manga. I did pick up Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Vol. 5 from Barnes & Noble, while also buying the Tamaki Ouran POP figure and 4 plushie keyrings (Espeon, Hunny's Bun-Bun from Ouran, and Kero and Sakura's key from CCS) from the local anime store.

From Sentai's Black Friday sale and it's sad that I have to check my email to see what I ultimately bought:
Flip Flappers BD Non Non Biyori Double set BD Beyond the Boundary movie set Bakuon!! BD... sadly, the reason why I bought anything in the first place. I do love it though Myself, Yourself DVD Flying Witch BD Tanaka-kun is always Listless BD Quasar of Stigmata complete seasons BD Love, Election and Chocolate BD. BD? I thought I picked the DVD which was cheaper Kamisama Dolls BD Campione BD... apparently. Oh yeah... I was going to get MAOYU but it sold out in the time between I added it to my cart and when I finally realized that I didn't have a Sentai account as I usually check out using Paypal there. "Oh right, Paypal autofills everything." Cyber Monday sale from DDD Patlabor Ultimate Love, Chuunbiyo and Other Delusions: Take On Me. Even away from Sentai, I can't get away from Sentai. And with that, this covers my allotted BD purchases, 1 a month, for 2019. I feel spent. |

I bought some anime over the past month or so:
After War Gundam X Blu-ray Memorial Box Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt Bandit Flower Complete Collection Gurren Lagann Complete Blu-ray Box (finally!) The Wind Rises Blu-ray (also, the seller gave me a copy of Arietty for free!) Lots of robots and I’ve almost finished collecting the Studio Ghibli releases! I think I need just one more disc... |

So far only bought Tamako Love Story off of Amazon during the holiday sales. I bought so much during Sentai's memorial Day sale this year that I really have no excuse to buy more. I have PLENTY to watch.

B&N was having a one day 50% off sale on video this past Saturday, plus a 20% coupon that stacked. Came in today (pretty fast Ship) Star Blazers BD LE and One-Punch Man BD LE.
Was tempted during the Sentai Black Friday sale, but didn't bite since I have enough in my backlog and space is limited. I also cried a little since some prices on previous purchases dropped a lot. |

I bought a Nintendo Switch today! Now, I can finally use all the cool gadgets I'd been slowly buying for it over time! (like my 8-Bit Do, which lets me use my PS4 controller with my Switch, and was a lot cheaper than buying a Pro controller! Or my Gamecube controller adapter, because obviously, I am going to need Smash Bros and I still have my old Gamecube controllers as is, and I'm using 'em!)

I've bought a new wristwatch today and I'm definitely pleased with my new purchase. I had a Fossil watch before and it was awesome too but it's totally broken after a car accident (nothing serious, everyone is alive but my watch is gone 4ever)... My new purchase is a Caterpillar Dual Timer Gun (black one). It looks very stylish. Actually, I like all caterpillar watches for men, they are awesome. But my new model is still the best.
