This movie was oddly amusing. If you liked Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl or Robogeisha and other such recent Funi releases you'll love this one.

As someone above me said, great to watch when you're drunk or somehow otherwise not working at full mental capacity Laughing

Wish Funi would bring over some GOOD live action Japanese films, maybe some more anime live action adaptions? Kimi ni Todoke movie was good.

Well, at least it is something.....different? Lol.

I agree, there are so many great movies out there, why must they grab the b-style horror movies, don't get me wrong, I enjoy them, but I would like some other choices as well.

I was all for live action at FUNimation when it meant Shaw Bros and Kamui Gaiden. And the occasional oddball, C-list movie I don't resent. But in this case, I'm not going to be diplomatic. This is absolute shit.

Well it's not as if Sekirei was a big hit either. Laughing Oh wait... It sort of was! Boobies for the win people!

Oh, the Rolling Eyes wasn't because I was doubting this would be a bad seller. It has boobs (and zombies), so it's a surefire hit. It just that when I saw this article, I thought "Oh, of course Funimation licensed this. Silly Funimation. Tits are for Lids." The predictability forced me.

Well, whatever. I'm sure many people are going to enjoy this very very much.

Look on the bright side, this helps get rid of the idea that Japan is some major heaven for movies, where geniuses constantly make brilliant movies that blow Hollywood out of the water.

Is there anything popular in Japanese cinema beyond horror, drama, and kaiju or something? I mean, I'm curious because I'll be honest, I know very little when it comes to what's big in Japanese live-action film.
Yes, there are plenty of regular non-horror, non-gore, non-exploitation type movies. They just aren't as cheap to license as this stuff is (I'm guessing). Not that this... uh, material doesn't have its place I suppose but I do wish someone would bring over some of these other films too.

Is this based on that horrible 360 game? That's what it looks like.

It's not based on the game but more like a rip-off/spoof of it. The Japanese title is Oppai Chanbara.

It's already been released in the UK by Manga Ent. I'll honest I rented it expecting at least some decent tit action I was left disappointed. She did fire a sword from between here breasts like a rocket though.

They better be F's or they are not big tits.
By Japanese standards, those are big for live action. Boobs, babs, and chainsaws, that's a winning combination. I bet they sell more of this then any one anime title they have. Laughing

Yeah, I loved that movie. Course, it'd be nice if they picked up the anime as well >.>
