I believe he's said that we can submit more than one entry.
While we're at it, I have a question too.
Is it okay to have one technique that's already used by multiple ninjas from multiple villages (i.e., the water clone technique) as long as we also have several original techniques? I know it's a bit nitpicky, but I want to make sure I'm not going to be disqualified for something like this. =P |

Yeah, you can have more than 2 or 3 characters in one entry.
Stuff to avoid: Your technique list should be primarily brand-new techniques you came up with yourself. Drawing on primary sources like mythology and astrology are fine but please do not include techniques from other shows or manga or movies. This isn't that complicated, folks. I'm not sure why you'd want a bunch of techniques that are already in the show listed here anyway; the contest rewards creativity. You can have other characters but if you're making entire villages and giant casts of characters odds are I'm not going to read the entire thing. The contest is "build a ninja", not "populate the globe with ninja". Anyway, I've been getting a lot of great entries so far. Good luck, and I'll be happy to answer any more questions you might have. |

Umm Yeah. So can we photoshop the ninja that we drew after we scan it?
And, suppose that we create original techniques, but someone else in the contest creates a technique similar to that. Would that result in disqualification of the two entrees? |

Are we aloud to give our characters tailed beasts such as the nine tailed fox if that perticular beast has yet to appear in the anime or manga?

I have a question: if the back story for your custom ninja is similar to a story in the show, just not in what's been shown here, will you be disqualified? I haven't seen any fansubs, just the dub.

Also vaguely wondering about the bijuu thing, but I guess anything's free game as long as it follows those rules, eh?
I'm mostly wondering, will the entires/winners be posted online? Or can contestants request they not be?  ; I get protective of my characters (my babies) and wouldn't want some art/idea thief coming along and taking said items...

Thats what I also wanted to ask, but a bit different. It was going to be a beast but at the same time not exactly a beast that was sealed within him. It's really hard to explain without giving my character away  wouldn't want to do that but I wouldn't want to get like disqualified or something like that....But I still have another idea with the bijuu the tailed beasts that haven't appeared in the story and give it a twist if it is alright to do that  , confusing ne? I hope not......

What stores listed where?? (Even better: will they ship everywhere in the US?) Also, where does an edited image from an existing anime qualify as on the picture thing?
I'd take that to mean that if they want to post them online, they'll post them online. |

My Question: Are we allowed to photoshop a ninja? Does it have to be a drawing or can it be a photoshop that's a mixture of different sources(not necessarily other ninja)?

As the rules say, it doesn't have to be a good drawing, but I think it does have to be a drawing.... |

You can photoshop your ninja, but after you've drawn an original character. Like you can do brush-ups and shadings on the picture, but you can't just take pictures of people on the show and merge them into one extremely sexy, uber maniacal, sexy beast. |
