Can someone tell me why EVA wasn't on last night during AS?

Apparantly [as] screwed around with their time slots and didn't give a damn about anything that was a re-run. GITS 2nd gig was a new episode in it's original time slot, so it was left unaltered, although it was altered and shown in the second Inuyasha time slot.
In other words, who cares because it was a re-run from Thursday airing. You want Eva? New Episodes every Thursday, although I believe the series ends this upcoming Thursday.

I think, though I'm not 100% sure, that the reason EVA wasn't on was that, in order to keep programming in line with the time change, Adult Swim had to skip over an hour of their programming, and it just happened to be the one with EVA and Bebop.
It should be back next weekend.

Unaltered? Not quite. They played fart sounds in the background. The Chuck Norris cartoon was ok and pretty funny but fart sounds during GitS. Thats just lame.

According to the program schedule, GITS:SAC2G was suposed to be followed by NGE and then by Cowboy Bebop. This confirms what I saw when I changed channels that night.
I saw the title for NGE at the bottom of my screen along with the current time slot. What was actually airing, though, was Booboo Runs Wild. The cable company got the schedule feed from the network, which was normal. What we saw and heard was anything else.
The combination of Daylight Saving Time and April Fool's day provided the Bump Keepers perfect cover to wreak Mister T and Chuck Norris and the Karate Komandos on unsuspecting viewers. DST pretty much killed the schedule, so the Bump Keepers figured they may as well have some fun with it.
