I get my manga, in Japanese from the Kinokuniya in Beaverton, Or. and it has a fairly good selection of manga. I can find almost any manga that I want there. even sometimes the english version.

I get mine from the one in Costa Mesa, CA. There's also the Book Off right across the street from it. Then again you could always go to the mainland Japan to get your manga in Japanese.

The difference between the actual Japanese comics and the translated versions is that translated versions might be edited. A good example of certain points of fanservice might be taken out or something, so if you want a manga in its entirety you should get the Japanese version.
