This article made my jaw drop. Here's hoping that they get Kirk Thornton back to play the doctor in English!

Hopefully Tezuka Productions will put this on iTunes in the US. I bought all 10 episodes on iTunes a while ago, and I doubt this will get licensed by any R1 company, so a sub-only digital release on iTunes is probably our only hope of legally seeing this.

According to the Tezuka Production official website here:

http://tezukaosamu.net/jp/news/n_709.html (Japanese only)

There is a 12th volume "Karte XII" following this 11th volume. Dezaki's fan can consider these two last volumes as a farewell gift from Dezaki-sensei.

...I feel the urge to dance around the room now.

HOLY CRAP, this is amazing. Let's hope they both get a Region 1 release! (Or legal streaming at least.) Unfortunately that's not likely, since the US demographic is still pretty small. Sad And the fact that CPM is dead...

But if somebody does pick it up, I hope they get Kirk Thornton back too! He might be a little busy though:

That seems like the most likely scenario. But maybe Nozomi will pick it up?
