Episodic comedy shows still give closure in the final episodes. Watamote managed to still give a bit of closure. (even though it was a little weak). I feel a line like what you said about things continuing the way they are would have been fine at the very least. Every show should at least acknowledge that it's ending and find a way to tie the issue with it's final episode no matter how minimal it may be.
Makes me wonder if they had planned for more episodes but didn't have enough money for it and just didn't have the time to change anything lol. |

Yokoi has already been corrupted to the dark side of time wasting. Had the bag inspection been at the start of the show she would have dobbed Seki in, but now she's too wrapped up in his games to genuinely want him being caught. One look at the robot family and she went soft. Speaking of which, assuming they do get married, Seki, Yokoi and their eventual child can cosplay as the robot family at Comiket. They'd look so cute together. |
