You mean the dubbing companies themselves, or the licensors that use them? |

well SpaceHardyMan i guess both
because i don't really know the whole sequence of getting dubs to market here in the USA ..Because being so newly re-introduced to anime (i left for 25 years when i thought i was too grown up for it…now re-realized Hollywood cant keep up with my thirst for sic-fi/ fantasy/supernatural shows as well as they won't take as many chances that Anime does…AAAAND i really can't handle Commercial filled television IF ….thats not to much to ask of you thanks and to all I hope this is not considered OFF TOPIC |

Well, off the top of my head, here are some of the anime distributors in the US/Canada that usually/sometimes do dubs: - Viz - Sentai Filmworks - FUNimation (- Media Blasters: recently they've been running on a skeleton crew, haven't done dubs for anime recently) (- Aniplex: some great anime sets, usually sub-only) (- NISA: great sets for the price, sub-only) (- Discotek: focus mainly in anime re-releases, don't produce dubs but have dubs on their sets if they are available to them) And some of the recording companies: - NYAV Post - Ocean Studios - Studiopolis - Bang-Zoom - FUNimation's in-house voice talent - Next Generation Pictures - Seraphim Digital (Sentai's in-house studio) |

I loved Red Data Girl so that one's a must have for me. I had absolutely no hope that it would ever be released since I seem to recall reading that it didn't do all that well.
I'll pass on the rest. Couldn't stand Date A Live, never seen Code:Breaker and even though I did like Karneval, I didn't like it enough to actually want to buy it. |

Some more that I can think of: - OkraTron 5000 (Chris Sabat's recording studio; does a lot of FUNimation's shows) - Blue Water Studios (an extension of the Ocean Group, located in Calgary) - Arvintel (another L.A. based studio, known for doing cheap Media Blasters dubs) - Salami Studios (Yuri Lowenthal and Tara Platt's studio; has done some work for Viz) - Coastal Studios (North Carolina studio; has done work for Bandai, AnimEigo, and Media Blasters) - Animaze (former Bandai studio; currently defunct) - Odex (Singapore-based studio; does most English dubs for Animax) - ZRO Limit Productions (yet another L.A. based studio) That's all I can think of off the top of my head. |

There's also Swirl. company#2408 company#2000
Bandai wasn't the only company to use them. company#544
And for a short time, did English dubs for Bandai & Geneon. http://www.crystalacids.com/database/company/394/odex-private-ltd/ |

as far as I am aware, the Australian market really only uses the North American dubs and when one isn't available, release a show as sub only. A smart move since the majority of Odex dubs are awful
