I pray one day Kodansha USA will release Chihayafuru. Until then I pray that Kodansha will continue the bilingual releases of Chihayafuru. Seriously I paid $23+tax each for both vol. 1 and 2 just because I wanted Kodansha to know there is an audience for it in America. Oh well, at least this was good news for Arakawa fans.

To be honest, I'm not an Arakawa fan, and I wasn't thrilled when it was announced that she would be doing the adaptation of one of my favorite novel series, but after a rough start, she's settled into the series. I'd recommend the series to any Arslan fan at this point.

Does Kodansha even realize that your Chihayafuru bilingual volumes were purchased in (or shipped to) America? I'd love to see more volumes get produced (for the US market or bilingual books), but as far as Kodansha knows, my purchase was made in Japan because I bought them from either CDJapan or AmazonJP...
