Is it just me, or is the artbox a tight fit for the cases?
I have a hard time getting the blu-ray cases out. Just the cases, the extra junk with the series and sound track slides out with ease. Are all Funimation's artboxes like this or did they yet AGAIN mess up the artbox for the series? My replacement case came in today |

My copy of OniAi slides out easily, but since Psycho-pass has other materials, I wouldn't be surprised if when selecting the sizes for it they gave it less slack for whatever reason. My Madoka Magica LEs are similar.

You're not alone (from blu-ray.com):

think if enough people complain, they'll do another run?
I shouldn't have to fight to get my cases out |

Are they talking about the worthless junk in that box (that isn't the show & soundtrack)? |

Funmaiton needs to admit to this design flaw Even if I DO take out the worthless part of the box, the cases don't even fit at an angle. And I shouldn't even have to do that, cases don't go into a box at an angle |

I don't have facebook...but can someone post them an image to show them?
Get a picture of the artbox flip upside-down and the cases no coming out In most cases, the cases will simply slide out with ease, but you won't get this result with this box |

Sounds like Funimation needs to do a quality-control review. I should be getting my Psycho Pass Box in a couple weeks, hoping it won't be too bad.

It is a pretty tight fit yeah. I have the season box for Devil May Cry which is even worse though. (The box for DMC might have been ADVs doing though. I think when that was produced they were the license holders of the show, before Funi rescued it.)
But no, that's not typical for Funi's boxes. Pretty sure it was a rush job to quickly get it out there to the fans who ordered it and had to wait a long time after the problem with the first run's box being defective. At any rate all you need to do to get the stuff out is to remove the cardboard placeholder that contains the "junk" first because that slides out easy. After that you have all the space you need to get the BD and OSTs out. |

...I shouldn't even have to do that
What is the point of an artbox if everything can't stay in the box? I'm not going to risk my artbox by forcing to pull & push an the cases in It's a DESIGN flaw. The set retails for $150, I would expect to get my money's worth and have a NICE box |

When I first got my replacement a couple days ago it was a bit of a tight squeeze to put everything in that took me a couple tries.
But I eventually got em all in without any issue, mine didn't break or get damaged like other people's did. Though now if I wanna take em out, it takes a shake or two, but its not too much a problem to put everything back in like it was the first time. Maybe mine just needed to be broken in like a shoe? lol This box isnt the first time I had to "shake out" a box with a tight squeeze (Funimation or otherwise) so I didn't pay it much mind until other people started bringing it up Though I suppose my box's issue isnt as bad as other people got it. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones |
