Season 2, Episode 16

There is a gif for this feeling I have, and would probably be one of Hinata feeling some level of energy, excitement and yet... maybe fear. AH, we have to wait a week for next episode!

Right when they make it clear in how important the captains are for the match Daichi gets possibly badly hurt.

I liked the touch of showing Johzenji as actually somewhat like them, like the extra first year manager.

I don't know if I said it before, but several episodes gave me a weird thought. Their teacher always makes me think of what we have seen of the Little Giant, his size and hair seem to be oddly similar. Not exactly important to this particular episode.

So Daichi's injury turned out to be a stiff face and tooth knocked out. Hmm, just glad that it isn't too serious.

#17

spoiler[That headbutt came with a price.
Daichi being out made things even more difficult.
Team spirit was not that great.
Ennosita's life kinda got the spotlight this time.. filler?
They really shortened this game.
This episode felt confusing.]

^ Why would you think it's filler? They've always cut away from games to give backstory.

Lol that even Asahi's hairband has the Asics product placement on it.

I like it when we get a bit of information about the team members who are usually in the background. Especially Enoshita, he is usually stuck in the background, but they showed us how he had been in the series up till now. I had actually been wondering who was going to replace the captain after the third years leave.

Season 2, Episode 18:

Grats to Karasuno! They earned it. The match was very exciting and there were a lot of good plays with close calls. Hope they do just as well if not better in their upcoming matches too.

I think everyone worked hard on the team to get to where they are now.

The game is still going?
Damn, that last episode was confusing.
Hinata is finally thinking mid air.
spoiler[A very tight win for Karasuno.
Still, it's finally over.
Time to move on.]

I quite like Enoshita, he was a big part of how they got through.

Are we about to Aobajousai vs Date Tech? That looks interesting.

Season 2, episode 19:

Date Tech is such a funny team tbh, I hope they will be able to improve more in the future. Good matches overall. I really liked the body movements and the iron wall references with the triple block. First years' walls got shattered hard ...but I think they can rebuild it in the future.

The flashbacks from Karasuno's team really hit hard imo. Everyone's just on their edge for the match. It's definitely their time to shine again and avenge the previous defeat. A funny and thrilling episode~

It might have been last week too, but I noticed this week that the OP was changed to include Daichi's injury. It was interesting to see a match of two teams other than Kurasano. Got to see a match between the Great King and Iron Wall. And passing anxiety onto Yachi.

Season 2, episode 20:

Wow, this episode was awesome. Very thrilling action with several noticeable plays and highlights.

I find it funny at some of the reaction and rivalries on the field from the very start between Karasuno and Aobajousai . If I was on Karasuno's side, I'd be careful of that guy at the end because he looks like serious trouble.

Very excited to see how the next episode will turn out.

Couldn't agree more. Fierce animation! Also, the hilarious interactions over Yachi before the game start. Laughing

Even if they only needed one point to win the set, they were clearly rattled by the new serve, and with the new player who can shift art styles, it is clear that they are in trouble from having their groove messed with.

Exciting episode.

So Karasuno vs Aoba Johsai!
This should be an intense game!
Oikawa is not an easy opponent.
Karasuno sure has improved.
Pretty even game so far.
That last play was amazing!!
But that guy is kinda scary..

Season 2, episode 21:

This episode was awesome, full of intense plays especially from that #16 Mad Dog. I'd say that Karasuno has a decent momentum for now but they need to really step up the game if they are shooting for the win.

Yamaguchi to play next time? This should be interesting! Can't wait for the next episode.
