Honestly, even with the story being continued in Book of Shadows and Blood Drive, I just don't care anymore. I don't know what killed my interest, whether it was the change to the mediocre Visual Novel style of gameplay or the excess of 'Alternate Universe/What If?' stories, I'm done with the Heavenly Host story. It HAD potential but I just got too bored too fast...

Here's hopes Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient will have a stateside release, because I'd like to get back to that experience.

The live-action trailer has nothing to do with Blood Drive: it's for the live-action movie adaptation.

Nothing's confirmed yet. They made it ambiguous (probably intentionally) by embedding the video in the main site together with the game's PV, but also made sure to name it "'Corpse Party' Promotion Movie" instead of "'Corpse Party BLOOD DRIVE' Promotion Movie".

The article did great by not specifically mentioning that it's a PV for the game, but rather stating that "the website for the game began streaming a live-action PV".

At any rate, I wouldn't mind a live-action if it actually keep the gore in.

There's also a restricted version for those who can't stand the gore which I thought looks kinda funny instead:
