That sucks. I actually liked her voicing Zoisite. I liked the character as a female over the original male one.

She was the voice of Sailor Moon villany (come on, 3/4 seasons dubbed, one movie). She will be missed...

She was one of the best voices in the original dub. I especially enjoyed her as Emerald. This is terrible, and she was so young too. May she RIP.
If she did voice Telulu, than that character's voice actress in both Japanese and English are now deceased. Last edited by PurpleWarrior13 on Thu Jun 05, 2014 4:14 pm; edited 1 time in total |

way way too young. and to lung cancer of all things. definitely inconceivable to pass away to lung cancer at that age unless that person is a heavy smoker. definitely a big hit cause i would have liked it if viz media had found a way to at least bring her back to the cast for the new dub. of course she wouldnt do zociete anymore since he was a guy to begin with, though i would have like to have seen her voiced as one of the amazon trio or even the crazy sailor galaxia. she had that knack of making popular female villians that much memorable. |

This is too sad! One of my favorite voice actresses...
She was the voice of Marina in Toei's Little Mermaid film, not Justin in the Saban version. Not sure where that goof came from. |

They're credited within the article. With the link you posted.
It isn't a goof. That credit is listed to her brother:

May Kirsten Bishop rest in peace. She was a great talent.
My favorite line from her is still: "Send me! Nephlite is a loser!" |

Actually no. There are other causes of lung cancer. The number two cause is radon gas, which people are often exposed to and never realize it. Christopher Reeves (Superman) wife died from lung cancer at a smiliarly young age and never smoked. |

There is also hereditary lung cancer.
My father, who yes, smoked, died of lung cancer, and they found three different types of cancer in his lungs. They told us only 1 was caused by smoking. We still don't know what the other two were caused by, but one likely he inherited from his father, who also died of lung cancer. |

May she rest in peace and best thoughts to her family. I have a pretty deep emotional connection to the show and sad to hear that she has passed on

Oh, goodness, I'm glad that those rude comments earlier were removed.
That said, I was really sad to hear that. As far as Villains were concerned, in that series she was the most memorable. I thought her range was amazing. I think I loved her most as Emerald, then Zoisite, then Kaori Knight. And I loved her in the Super S movie: Black Dream Hole. *sad* I wished I had a chance to meet her at least once. She will be missed. |
