It is unsatisfactory that not a single duel took place during this whole escapade. Police should know that the proper way to arrest a card thief is with a duel. Happened all the time in Yugioh 5D's.

not sure why this has anything to do with anime. This kind of thing is very normal, it happen every where. Maybe it's not yugioh cards.

What's a 15 year old doing with 20 year old 'friends' anyway? They sound no good stealing from kids. I hope they're embarrassed.

Collectable game resale is really big here in Japan. I've actually had my Prism Stones for Pretty Rhythm stolen twice. I gave up playing after the second time.

"two 20-year-old salary men were arrested yesterday in Kōbe for stealing 15-year-old kid's Yu-Gi-Oh! cards."
"20-year-old men" but "15-year-old kid"... I find it exceedingly funny how they get treated so differently when their age difference is so miniscule.
Never understood age restrictions and stuff. Everything is so arbitrary.

bet the kid had a few exodia cards, one of those god cards or their GX clones or manga counterparts.

Gotta draw the line somewhere.

A couple of twenty-year-old men stealing "Yu-Gi-Oh!" cards? These guys must either be desperate or scum or both. I hope these two clowns get long prison sentences for this.

YGO is a lot cheaper in Japan than in America. In Japan 10 of those cards would only be a hundred or so. Even for stealing 320 cards they only averaged about 2 bucks per card.

Well, damn. That's pretty messed up since they were supposed 'friends'.Anyways I wonder what their punishment is going to be.
Also,on the same note, the jokes on this thread are hilarious!

I think it's obvious that the solution here is for the kid to summon the soul of an ancient Egyptian psychopath and have him subject them to a penalty game with some kind of fate worse than death.
