Black Bullet is all over the rankings and NGNL characters in the top 5, it's much better than the Japanese rankings although Tina is a bit low on the female ranking. I'm surprised no one from Gochiusa made the list, US fans just clamor over Rize.

I agree with a lot of the male choices, but Shidou at number 2? He has basically no character, he's a harem protagonist, come on! I think that Sora should probably be number one on the males, and Toru should be up there somewhere.
I agree with the female list a lot more, although I wish Tina was higher, and the lack of Chaika is a crime... |

Why the hell are Satomi and Shido on the top? They are probably the most bland characters on the list besides Tatsuya imo (especially Shido good lord) .
Glad to see Shougo on there at least. |

Rentaro is an okay character, not the most interesting, but he isn't all that bland either. He's kind of like Eren Jaegar except not always angry. So he's capable of deeper though, and reflection. But he still pales in comparison to characters like Sora, Toru, and Murakami. Couldn't agree more on Shido though. |

The only thing I can say about this list is there's not a single character on this list who is in a showing I'm actually watching (aside from No Game No Life which is mainly just a spectacle and where I can't say I particularly like any of the characters) or could say anything particularly interesting about and it's not like I'm not watching anime this season nor enjoying anything. Boy I must be REALLY out of touch with what's popular with crowds these days (though it looks like there's a rather significant bias towards series based on Light Novels in this list which I tend to not be all that interested in) but here's what would probably be my list:

That's actually exactly how I'd describe Rentaro. The problem with him is that the show constantly depicts him as being one of the only nice people to the kids therefore it adds to his appeal. If not for this I can't say much else about him that's good. He's a much more level headed Eren sure but that's not saying much. |

I'm a little surprised that there are so many Mekaku characters in there. Personally, I did enjoy Ene's story (though it is kind of sad), but I still feel like I'd need to know more about some of the others before I would vote for them in a poll.
And, out of all the characters from Nisekoi...we get Marika in there? Thing I'm most disappointed about is not seeing either Tooru or Chaika from Chaika - Coffin Princess in these polls. Happy to see Rentaro and Tina Sprout in there. |
