spoiler[Seishuu sure gets interesting inspiration from the island life.
I was afraid of they would want him to come back..
There are only 2 episodes left so it's bound to happen soon.
Seeing Naru pout was kinda fun.
Seishuu found a hidden talent - rock stacking LOL
He even got a small job from the villagers.
Damn, he sure gets depressed easily, but snaps out of it equally fast!
The festival part was really fun ^^
There are some pretty talented people living in that village.
Seishuu was totally enjoying it like a kid.
It was weird that he left without saying anything.
Maybe he just doesn't like goodbyes. ]

Episode 10

For some reason I really liked the parts with Tama here, that they spoiler[off hand mentioned her and we cut to her bookstore situation]. It is not too rare of a gag, but for some reason it feels a little rare for anime appearances. The characters are all just damn likable, the middle school girls always bring in some fun, along with the cuteness that Hina and Naru bring in, or the boyish charm of the other little kids. I think Hina might be my favourite, she doesn't do a lot but some sight gags always get me.

My opinion of events is that he spoiler[might be planning to go back, he is just attending the exhibit]. At this point, despite nothing super meaningful happening in the show, I am looking towards giving this a masterpiece rating, it has just been such a delight that I can't really say much against it.

The first BD/DVD hasn't been released yet (it will be in a few days) but I can definitely see this series selling well and while I have nothing concrete to back it up, I'm fairly confident the series will get a second season somewhere down the line.

Currently the series is at the end of volume 5 of the manga, and there are 9 volumes out atm. The 10th volume comes out next week. Considering the fast pace of the anime we probably wouldn't get a sequel right away. My guess is that they weren't too sure if the series would be successful or not so they skipped a few events that happened in the manga instead of taking their time.

While waiting for a second season, I would absolutely LOVE it if they animated Handa-kun. X3

This is a preview of the bonus video that will be included on vols. 3 and 4 of the BD/DVD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBoJdUiDTWc I absolutely cannot wait until they're released! Suzuko chan (Naru) is so adorable! She really is a real-life Naru. (She's even got Naru's "tattoos" on her arm! Anime hyper) And the way OnoD interacts with her and the rest of the child cast is so cute. X3

^ I certainly hope it does well. It has been very entertaining so far and I would love a second season.

I've watched that bonus video preview before too! Makes me really want to go buy the Japanese BDs just to watch them. There's only going to be 4 volumes of the BD/DVD release, right? Each release with 3 eps.

Considering other 1-cour shows normally split their BD/DVDs at 2 eps per release, there are less volumes to buy with this series. So I hope they get good sales numbers. I think I might actually spend some money for this series.

Yes. It's 4 volumes with 3 episodes each. I was going to hold out for FUNimation's release....... until they announced the bonuses. x__x I NEED to go to that event and the bonus video of OnoD and Suzuko chan in Gotou are a must-have. Guess I'll be double-dipping since I still plan on getting FUNimation's release to support the series.

spoiler[Sensei back in the big city.
He's still as easily depressed as usual.
His ranting about his style change was unnecessary.
Finally face-to-face with the director he punched LOL
He got forgiven rather easily..
Seishuu's nerves got the better of him and he did it again!
Poor director just can't catch a break with him...
Can't believe he actually got praised after soaking the director.
Guess his inspiration was left behind on the island.
The way things are going he's probably gonna stay there forever ^^
The call from the island cheered him up significantly.
His destiny is that island.]

Damn, I'm really going to miss this show when it finishes airing next week. And by the latest episode, it has made me laugh every week with its great comedy and writing.

I'm glad we meet some of spoiler[sensei's family members. Also, it was cool to know that Naru and her friends are able to keep in touch with sensei through telephone. Nice.]

The phone call was cute. X3 I really do love the kids in this series.

I love how Handa reacted the same way when he was spoiler[forgiven] as Naru did in the first episode. This surely was not coincidental.

Tama's totally slashing Handa and Hiroshi. ^^;;;;;
