That's unfortunate to hear, I hope they put that as a deleted scene when the movie come out on DVD/blu-ray.

Forget a deleted scene, just add it back in. I can't believe movies are even being cut for time anymore when we have things like Wolf of Wall Street going 3 hours and nearly every single cape movie taking two and a half hours. I thought audiences wanted more for their $15 tickets plus $40 of food?

It'll be an incentive to get the Director's Cut discs.
Audience don't want to sit that long (that's why I didn't tell my companions how long Spiderman 2 was  ), and theaters want more showings per day.

Sounds like they do a lot of test screenings, and I guess that was were the emphasis for removing content came from.

That is a possibility, but I doubt that. But as I said, I'm hoping it'll be included in the deleted scene for the DVD/blu-ray release. |

I would rather see it included in an extended version of the movie. I wasn't impressed with the movie, but I like it enough it'll sit next to my other Godzilla bluray movies. |

Well that will depend. They'll either put it in the extended version or put in the deleted scene feature. However it'll be put in, I doubt the director will permanently eliminate this scene forever. |
