Well this is good news, very good news. Hopefully they are also looking into Kamen Rider stuff too.

I have a suspicion Zyuranger will be the only toku they release, just to cash in on Power Rangers nostalgia rather than a genuine interest in the medium.

We should at least wait to see how good/bad the Zyuranger release is before hoping for more.

Yeah, this is pretty crazy to see, one would have expected this to be like hoping we'd ever see any recent Macross not get blocked.

Honestly, this is more like Harmony Gold letting SDF Macross, Southern Cross, and Mospeda get released.

Which they did.

I doubt it. Sentai at least has "Power Rangers" brand recognition. Nobody liked "Masked Rider" and nobody watched "Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight" (even though the latter was decent for American Toku standards unless you're a hardcore purist).

Would be a shame if so because If we're talking about MMPR by itself then that's excluding Dairanger & Kakuranger, which of course were used for most of seasons 2 & 3.

glover: You never know. The Japanese Transformers line did pretty well enough to bring out more. Though SF still appears to be holding out on Beast Wars.

Maybe their only Sentai release, but Shout has done toku in the past:

It's actually happening, Zyuranger is gonna be avalible legally in America for the first time ever. While I did enjoyed Power Rangers as a kid, I enjoyed Zyuranger even more cause it was like rediscovering the same show in a whole new way. This will be a must buy item next to the Adam West Batman TV series Blu-ray set.
