I wonder if this being popular enough in America to inspire Funimation's first limited edition set has anything to do with the decision to give it a second season? Probably not, but it would be cool.
It's a cute show, and a sweet manga. I'm curious which arcs they're going to adapt now spoiler[the traveling to the past arc would be a good one to pick!] |

Again? Are you confusing this with Kamisama Dolls? Kamisama Kiss was licensed by Funimation (both as a simulcast, and for home video). |

I am happy, but it seems a bit odd, the first season sales were not good enough for another season. It has been licensed to be dubbed to spanish, which means it is popular but not a big hitter. I wonder if this means someone with deep pockets gave the green light or anime production costs have been steadily going down (and/or stream revenue has been going up) and we will see more sequels from shows with poor disc sales.

I'm sure they will. They seem to like those kinds of titles because they have Ouran, etc. Besides, I'm pretty sure they're in the habit of picking up second seasons. |

Awesome! I didn't expect this to get a second season! I read the manga after first season aired and now it's one of my favorites. As for the anime, I loved both the original Japanese and dub. x3
