I never thought they would get the Strike Witches Movie this soon, been waiting forever on that one. Was going to import the Japanese Blu-Ray since I can understand it raw and was tired of waiting but didn't want to pay 70-100 dollars unless I knew Funimation was never going to license it.
As for someone who mentioned season 3 their is none, only 3 episode OVA's only for right now in the works.

Another round of Funimation licensing passes, and still no word of them picking up Hunter x Hunter. Come on, Funimation; don't pass up the chance to dub Yu Yu Hakusho's sibling series!

Just glad that Haruhi-chan and Strike Witches movie are licensed by Funi.
I've been interested in the Strike Witches movie, so I held out watching online until it's legitimately licensed in the US, that way, it'll give me a reason to buy the physical media.
And I was on the fence regarding buying the Bandai's version of Haruhi-chan from RightStuf. Good thing I didn't pulled the trigger on this one.
I have own all Lucky Star and its OVA and Haruhi Suzumiya (both seasons) on DVDs, so I have nothing to say about these anime.

I was having a great feeling Funimation would acquire Haruhi Suzumiya and Lucky Star before they even announced licensing them both.
With Lucky Star's OVA licensed by Funimation, there'll be no need to cut out the Sgt. Frog references.
All we have to now is wait for them to acquire the Miyakawa-ke no Kufuku ONA series and hopefully, they'll bring back the most of the voice cast from the main Lucky Star series.

C'mon now, let's get a Nichijou US release. I was soo excited when Bandai announced its release only to get my heart shattered into a million pieces with the companies closing. If it comes to America I'm totally buying it! I might not watch the dub though, the voice acting is just too perfect in Japanese I'd find it hard to watch in English.

Funi, please obtain rights to Hunter x Hunter 2011. Or at least Viz.

*looks at expensive Japanese imports of Haruhi over on shelf*
*sighs*
Really though, this is great news! Glad I was patient and didn't import the JP Steins;Gate movie as well. I'll probably buy Haruhi again from Funi just to support it.

Nah, no thanks. Already have the box-sets from Japan and they have the dubs and English subs as well. I'm covered.

I've almost given up on seeing someone bring it over to the west. Don't think it ever gained much attention while airing, so I have doubts that many would see it as a worthwhile series. Sad, as I really enjoyed it.
Guess I'll still hold onto what little hope I have for it. Would be nice to see the last novel see an anime adaption too. But, I know that'd be asking for too much.

It doesn't help that NO ONE simulcasted legally, not even Crunchyroll, which is truly bizarre given the pedigree of the title.
Glad Haruhi is going to be back in circulation. I'll await their eventual license rescue of the Disappearance movie though.
