> First Aid Kit replaced with Pizza
The secret to American healing has been outed! What will happen if other countries learn of this?!

Some of those edits make a lot of sense but wow...some really aren't necessary (like replacing Nobita's tears).

Wow. How horrendously unnecessary and ridiculous all those changes are.

They might as well not air it.

CHOPSTICKS ARE TOO FOREIGN, GUYS. NOBODY IN AMERICA WILL KNOW WHAT CHOPSTICKS ARE. AMERICAN CHILDREN NEVER CRY, SO GET RID OF THAT, TOO.

Whoever is in charge of these changes is a feeble-minded simpleton.

I look at stuff like this and I always wonder how after spending so much money editing the footage to be "American enough" they wouldn't just make their own American animated series.

Some of these are perfectly understandable (like replacing japanese signs with their translated version...even some fansub groups do that) but most of them are pretty weird with some being downright dumb (pizza instead of a first-aid-kit).

I thought everyone knew that pizza is the only one treatment that cures everything?

Uhh...I fail to see why these changes are necessary. Seriously, Disney. You're going to be like 4Kids? Really? *facepalm*

I guess changing the name from Doraemon was the one thing that they wouldn't allowed changed, probably written into the contact.

Gotta wonder if the changes are Disney's doing or the company/studio in Japan, or both? But yeah, the money is understandable I guess, but some of these are silly,

So they're re-drawing the changes, not just overlay. They're really sparing no expense to get this adapted.

Seems that Disney is now a Neo-4Kids. :/ I will probably won't watch that 'americanized' sheet.

To the fansubs, I go!
