You mean it was obvious who was voicing the naïve tsundere with the iconic tsundere voice, well yep I had myself waiting to be sure of indeed who it was. I found it quite humorous that Jin was managed to have her fooled with such a terrible lie, might make her interesting. I wonder how Osamu will ever be able to overcome is lack of natural ability to match them.

Time to get moving.
They started talking more seriously about those 3 being border agents.
Guess they have to train for that tournament to get ahead.
Chika tried out her first trigger awww..
So did Kuga. He managed to win against Konami too.
Osamu was pretty much dead after his training.
Chika was most impressive with her persistence and endurance.

Chika might be the most powerful of them all with training and experience

lol this is getting 50 episodes? I guess having no ED song and having a shit ton of still scenes can get you a 4 cour show. Shame I like the manga, but this adaption is pretty bad.

well the more cours you have the more money you need to save. At least fights are good.

Yeah, they have to stretch a show like Rage of Bahamut's budget over 50 episodes instead of 12.

I wonder when we will get a new OP song in the future.
It also looks like Jin is going to have his hands full quite a bit next time....

Kuga being spied on by the main border branch.
Guess they still don't trust him..
Looks like they just want his black trigger for themselves.
Good thing Jin can see the future.
He intercepted them just in time.
So everyone is advancing in their training except Osamu..

Episode 14:
Hmm, I think the fight is going to drag a bit with the show being a 4 cour. Not that I mind it much though since Jin is one of my favorites from the series. I hope they can adapt his full potential well with that cliffhangerish ending to transit into the next episode.

Really liking the infighting between the agents. Also love the focus shifting to Jin for a bit. Yea, animation is garbage blah blah but it is one the more interesting stories out right now.
Surprise at the notion of it getting 50 episodes seeing as how judging by the internet, everybody else hates the show...

Yuuma, Osamu and Chika get new triggers.
Triggers explained trough a fight - Jin vs those guys from last time.
That was a nice touch.
It was interesting watching them fight, but there were too many characters involved.
Jin vs Tachikawa fight was the best.
Guess it's not over yet..

Episode 14
Jin's fighting plan
Plan A: End with them deciding to retreat after a long battle.
Plan B: Beat everyone.

That battle was like a metaphor for the way this whole series has been handled so far. Not much actually happening, just dancing around, looking busy, killing time, until the viewers run out of patience and force them to get serious.

It's because everyone loves the manga, it's the best new series in Jump in years (aside from Stealth Symphony, at least). They just got greedy with it and stretched out what should have been a tight two-cour series into 50. If they kept the pacing of the manga then people would love it.

That's why I love being an anime watcher first and a manga reader second. I love this show as it is.
