For once I'm rather pleased to be European, with All the Anime's boxset coming next month (including OVA's and the movies) on BD.

The whole series is going to cost $250. Laughing

No thanks, Aniplex. I'll watch on Netflix instead of selling bone marrow to afford your releases.

Why the hell you'd pay that much to buy the series when you can just watch it for free on Toonami, I have no fricking idea. Hell, just buying a DVR and taping the episodes for personal use would easily be cheaper.

The price point might work for a popular enough series. But the train for singles of not-current shows left the station a long, looong, time ago. Not even the Japanese are doing it...

I agree. They are charging just as much as for Monogatari and Kill la Kill, but those shows only aired last year and this is their first time being released. Many anime fans have seen and bought TTGL. I think this is going to be a big flop for Aniplex.

- it's on TV.
- it's on Netflix.

Nice try.

Oh you're so doing it Aniplex. You are so doing it. Except that I won't be purchasing your jacked up shit.

I already got the second BD box of Fate/Zero from Japan. When I saw Aniplex's release of Fate, I did little research long ago but now I felt like purchasing Fate/Zero I saw the crap they put together and the big ass price on it. Plus, Aniplex hates on Fansubs so I'll put my money ... somewhere else! I'm prepping to get the first BD box of Fate/Zero as well from there. I just won't purchase anything, at all, from you Aniplex! Razz

Opened the box with my sister and we were showcasing everything through a video. The character art across each disc, plus the extras, art case and just handling it feels awesome. The texture on the art box is drastically different than the other ones I handled. The quality feels rugged - superior to anything I've felt.

Just something extra to throw at:

I can just see the people at that panel looking at each other and saying "Did I hear that right?"

The thing about train wrecks is that they are really impressive and they take a while to finally stop.
