It looks good. Production IG is in charge of this and the premise looks fun enough.
I've only read a few chapters of the manga though but hope this will be faithful. |

I've studied the Hundred Years War before and thought the clip was pretty sharp (both visually and musically), so color me intrigued.

To be fair, the premise does sound pretty rough. Which is too bad. I only read one volume of the manga, and I'm not sure how the adaptation is going to be approached, but I found it to be incredibly intelligent. There is sexual humor, but it's humor about sex, rather than the more typical anime approach of "haha, sex!" The portrayal of the church and aristocracy is very Canterbury Tales, yet the treatment of Christian theology is surprisingly respectful for a story whose main antagonist is, essentially, God.

To be honest, it's a fair assessment against anime on one hand and the other, Japan. They both have a history of, well... Oh wait, just this show? I thought the clip looked a lot more tactful than it could have been. "Yōko Hikasa as Artemis, Maria's succubus Mikako Komatsu as Priapos, Maria's incubus" Yeah, those terms at the end; This series is going to use the phrase "sexual demons" literally. |

Looks good and that music track was really nice.
Agreed, it looked great. I've enjoyed most of Taniguchi's stuff and recently re-watched his Gun x Sword, yet another of his shows which I really liked. |

Never hath maiden virginity become so much of a media scheme as it is with anime/manga/LNs.
(Except maybe the Bible?) They don't ask this of off the guys, do they? |
