This series has yet to be announced for North America.

Announced, maybe, but at least it's already here on streaming--
Sony's US acquisition of the Animax English dub is still stranded on Crackle, because rights are keeping it off of disk, but nice to know somebody got the dub for disk. Sad

That's great news! I've been waiting for someone to license this for ages. Definitely buying it the minute that it's available.

Woohoo!

I'll be able to throw away the low quality bootleg I bought years ago from some online site in south-east Asia. Hey, I didn't know any better at the time.

Siren Visual really is one of the best licensing companies. I have a lot of respect for their choices.

I definitely will import this at some point.

Siren Visual: Making the impossible possible (for Aussies and people willing to import). Laughing

Pretty sure I'm going to pick this up too.

Slightly off-topic: is Dennou Coil also worth importing?

Does the anime have the entire story or just a part of it? I'm so bummed that they stopped printing the manga in English and would like to see how the story ends in one way or another.

I haven't seen it, but the title always seems to be mentioned whenever people discuss what should be released in the States. It was released almost ten years ago and still generates a buzz so there must be something to it.

I went to Siren Vis FB page and saw no mention of dub ...i did ask that question though, so we will see...
and yes it is by all means worth it to import.
I scored Durarara complete blu-ray for $ 80 (@ siren vis)...the cool thing is region 4 blu-rays play on my american PS3 (no adjustments needed)... and for DVD i got a region free player ( $25 - $700 on amazon or ebay...but make sure it plays NTSC/PAL formats...and buyer beware on cheaper units...my unit was OPPO BDP-103D for its 4K upscaling and Darbee chip WOW!!!! works amazing)
I get bothered by Aniplex of america holding shows like Blue Exorcist Blu-ray for ransom @ even $150 / 325min even on TRSI ..when it can be had from Amazon UK for $90.00 for the whole show all 650 min and blu-ray.
I don't know about most folks but to see if Dennou Coil is worth buying is easy ...Search it here and you will find in user ratings section that it rates #113 on Bayesian estimate which is phenomenal ...you can't really go wrong with anything #500 or less with that scale ...then for fun go check rating on M.A.L. My Anime List ...there it scores #259 once again really can't go wrong with anything #500 or under ... IMHO ... only sad thing is more than 1/2 of the titles in that range are not dubbed which to me is a shame ...i just can't keep up with subs

There are 3 series which cover the complete story IIRC. It's been a while since I watched them and read the manga so I can't remember exactly.

Good news, although I already have season 1 through the Animax Asia DVD release that I bought from HK-based play-asia.com

It would be more interesting if there were an official release of seasons 2 and 3 with at least English subtitles.
