I hope they released more visuals, like character design etc perhaps. Also, even though this is a completely different project with anohana, they kept pushing the marketing as "the team which created anohana" and even promoted it in anohana event. Kinda irks me for some reason, but I hope it's a good movie anyway.

Teen angst/drama often has an appealing story and emotional appeal to it,

So this is by the anohana team, but not a sequel or anything, right? I think the story was pretty well told in anohana, though I wouldn't mind an epilogue showing a certain couple getting together... (I haven't seen the anohana movie, so if it happens there, don't bother telling me. I will watch it eventually...) 
I expect good things from this team. they tend to do good work.
