Well this is a nice surprise. I worried the franchise was getting desperate when they resorted to this "Wake Up Girls ZOO" mini-episode stuff.

As the pilot movie was the best part of WUG! so far, the idea of continuing the story in movie form makes a lot of sense.

"Don't complain! Don't rest! Don't think! You're an idol first, and a human being second!"

I guess anime will double saved when this comes out

But in all seriousness, I'm extremely indifferent about this announcement.

Glad to hear we'll be getting more WUG. Short haired Yoppi doesn't look bad at all.

Glad to see this show is getting another movie and a 2nd season, I did enjoy the 1st season and I found it a bit refreshing from other idol anime.

Wow, you almost got half the words right.
Why would they "keep this dead"?
This is basically the only chance for their seiyuu to ever make a name for themselves, and I'm cheering them on.

People really thought this was a train wreck? Wth? I was gonna post about how its the most underrated show of the year and I guess that backs up my statement a bit. I loved it's more realistic approach to idols and really enjoyed the music more than it's rival idol shows music. The seiyuu are also all fantastic, especially the ones that were also in Hanayamata (another underrated show that was pure fun and joy)

Now the seiyuu have debuted, they should be fine. They are already getting decent roles roles outside of WUG. Not that I'm unhappy to see more WUG.

Aww yeah. WUG was one of my favorite shows from the season (maybe even the whole year) so I'm really excited. And it's a sequel! Hopefully it has an 80-minute movie budget.

Wake Up, Girls was my first idol anime but I enjoyed it. I loved all the characters (Miyu the most) and the songs are so good I downloaded them to listen to them anytime. As soon as I saw Wake Up, Girls! on the homepage I instantly got really excited.

Ow! Yes! I've been waiting for this. Hopefully, they will fix their animation. hehehe. I LOVE this show.

Actually, the seiyuus don't need this. They should just become an official idol/musical group. I'm rooting for them.
