Discovered while inputting staff credits. These three pairs all share the same kanji reading and work type (animators, mostly)

Kazuzo KOBAYASHI
person#29633
and
Ichizō KOBAYASHI
person#5834

Tokio YAMAUCHI
person#50289
and
Ikuo SANNAITŌ
person#81309

Takeshi SHINDA
person#74835
and
Takeshi SANADA
person#102595

Went ahead and merged the first one as Ichizō, since his official reading was confirmed with a previous merger.

The second person may actually be Tomio Yamauchi, according to this source (a change in kanji, but not in reading).

I've marked Tokio and Ikuo as possible duplicates for Tomio, but would like the "okay" before merging.

Decided to do a scan of various official American credits:

Tomio: Freezing, Fairy Tail, Seven of Seven, Death Note
Tokio: Ah My Goddess! Flights of Fancy, Coyote Ragtime Show, Sister Princess
Toshio: Ghost Hunt

I don't think they would be easy to get right without licensor input, so the fact it's "Tomio" so many times would be further proof. Also, it seems "Tokio" only appeared in ADV credits I checked, as if it was just their particular common guess. If there's any evidence to the contrary, it can be reversed, but now it certainly looks like the person just changed his name in kanji and that's it. I, at least, approve a merge.

Just checked a couple I have access to.

Final Fantasy: Unlimited from Tokio Yamauchi's page, lists Tomio Yamauchi in the credits for episode 15 (ADV release)

Tenchi Muyo! GXP from Tokio Yamauchi's page, doesn't list any of the names we have in the credits for episode 26 (FUNimation release) [note: I checked episode 25, and it doesn't appear to be a case of not having individual credits for each episode]

I merged the three and left the old kanji reading and the newer one:

They both have a mix of 3D stuff and "photography". There are examples of both, however, with a precision of "Asahi Production".

Anime@Wiki and allcinema are the top results in Google and neither has a suggested reading.
Google gives 6 results for "真田竹志" "さなだたけし", all of which are anime-related sites, and none at all for "真田竹志" "しんだたけし".
Best of all, one of those results is a document from the Association of Japanese Animators:
http://www.aja.gr.jp/data/doc/0228204534.pdf
Quote:
真田 竹志 (さなだ たけし)
3DCGIディレクター
CG監督作品としてバカとテストと召喚獣(2010年)、C3 -シーキューブ-(2011年)など。3DCG参加作品としてはSDガンダムフォース(2004年)、SDガンダム三国伝Brave Battle Warriors(2010年)、ベルセルク黄金時代篇II ドルドレイ攻略(2012年)などがある

His profile is the only one there that doesn't mention Asahi Production...

I'm going to go ahead and merge them because, even if they do need to be split, at least that would mean one merge and one split as opposed to two splits and two merges.
