Bloody'ell that was a shocker! The opening of GiTS SAC will mean even more to me everytime I hear it from now on. My deepest condolences to her surviving family, and friends for their loss. May her soul see God's perpetual light, and her body rest in peace.

From singing to lung cancer in half a year. That was too quick. RIP

I am shocked beyond belief. I also really liked her songs from Ghost in the Shell. She will be missed. I can't believe it, this is so saddening

These deaths that come out of nowhere are the worst to deal with. Way too young she was. Her and her voice will be missed. RIP.

Truly a tragic loss to this planet. She is clearly going to be missed by many people.
...although I'm not sure why the article mentions TWICE that she attended Anime Revolution. That's not the first or only convention she attended and not even the most recent. http://animecons.com/guests/bio.shtml/4637/Origa |

44? Lung cancer? That's probably one of the shittiest hands I've ever seen dealt.
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex will never be the same again. RIP |

No! I love her songs for Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Fantastic Children.
It's so sad that someone so talented passed away at such an early age. RIP, Origa; your music will live on in our hearts. |

agreed 100%. We're stuck with those that should meet with the cat-hating Greg but we lose people who make very entertaining works. |

Oh man, I loved her songs. This is extremely surprising and depressing. I had no idea she was struggling with cancer.

Rest in peace Origa. She has provided me with many wonderful pieces of music such as GITS and FFXIII-2 but I will forever remember her songs from Ar Nosurge.
