Viz, I'm still waiting for the rest of Monster. Do it.

This looks good, and I hope that the rest of the Nintendo Power comics can get a release. I recall hearing that apparently one of the Mario comics in it was actually quite good.

its likely that their license to the series (the anime) has expired. so....

Not. Really?

Honestly they've historically kind of sucked at Anime distribution, better that those lieneces go elsewhere, where they might get timely releases.

Yeah Viz began business publishing manga, then typically only license anime whose manga they publish.

This version of the Link to the Past manga has nothing to do with the ones by Akira Himekawa, right?

Enigmatic: Monster may or may not be tied up with that HBO remake.

Mr. Adventure: Don't forget those 90s color Pokemon manga. I don't care about Pokemon, but I know the fans would want 'em. Actually, I've been pestering Nintendo since the early 2000s to bring it back, and I guess those low Wii U sales finally forced them to agree. Now I'm just waiting for them to fold on Mother 3.

Hopefully the Mario Adventures, Star Fox, and Super Metroid comics aren't far behind!

Somehow, I managed to save dog-eared volumes with complete runs of Ishinomori's Zelda and Takekuma/Nozawa's Super Mario Adventures.

I would love to have collected volumes of Benimaru Itoh's Super Metroid and StarFox. I only have one or two Nintendo Power issues featuring the comics.

No. This is entirely different. It was published in serial format in Nintendo Power magazine in the early 1990's I believe.

So we're getting some more Shotaru Ishinomori? That is some good news.

Are yuou talking about How I Became a Pokémon Card? Kagemaru Himeno was one of my favorite illustrators for the TCG's early days. She still makes some very nice stuff for the card game today.

All right. I'm not familiar with those, as I subscribed to Nintendo Power long after they stopped doing comics.
