This is amazing news, but this is the last game I'd think Sega would bring over. I imported the Sega Store limited edition some time ago because I wanted this game really bad (has most of my favorite series in it), but now I may have to double dip to get the English release.

Am I the only one not surprised. There's lots of popular characters in this and thus probably enough of a market to make it worthwhile if it's just text translated and released. All the licenses belong to Dengeki Bunko so there's no real licensing hell that I'm really aware of. It'll be lucky to sell 100,000 copies absolute max but I think something like 50K could be reachable.

Hopefully it's not digital download only and don't have some licensing issues that cause some of the characters to be removed.

Exactly! Now I feel like an idiot for importing a copy.

Extremely unexpected. I'll now have to get a PS3 just because.
Well, unless it's dubs only, or in the even more unlikely scenario it also comes out on Steam. xD

I am so excited about this. The game looks like a ton of fun, and I've been truly eager to get my hands on it. I'm glad I had yet to import. I'll willingly wait for the North American release.

Didn't see it in the article, but straight from the PSblog post

I'm predicting Pokken Tournamet and Nitroplus Blasters: Heroine Infinite Due are the next to journey to the west.l

Not sure why people keep saying "if the charactersare in tact". Why wouldn't they be? Article says right it in the characters are the same as the JP version...

Since there was a rumor that some character from J-Stars Victory might be cut, I can see how some would be concern. But since the article says everyone is in, that should lower fears. For J-Stars Victory characters, those who are cut might be replace with new characters for the West, so not too bad for that game.
