I wonder if this contest will have as many awesome entries as the Cossette contest. I looked at the entries for that, and there were so many amazing designs! ^^;

But it doesn't really have to be anything Lolita right (since the contest page said all styles are acceptable)? I really like what I've seen of Lolita dresses, but I don't think I know enough about any of them to design my own dress that's completely a lolita style.

The contest page says that readers may submit multiple entries.. I'm assuming there's no limit to how many you can submit, but I could be wrong.

Thanks! I hadn't looked back at the page & seen that it had been edited.

Questions
1. Does it have to be colored?
2. Does it have to be drawn in the same style the anime or our own?
3. Does it matter if it is on graph paper?
4. Can we photo-shop it?
5. Does it need shdowing?

1. You can submit as many entries as you want. If you have the time, you should consider submitting different views of the outfit (front, back, accessories?, etc.). Not necessary, but always a nice touch.
2. It doesn't have to be anything lolita. Anything high fashion or reasonably fashion forward will be just as graciously welcomed.
3. The entries do not have to be colored, but colors can really enhance a final product. You definitely don't have to color it by computer.
4. The design should be drawn in your own style.
5. You can use any kind of paper you want. We're going to be looking at the design, not at the paper you put it on.
6. You can do whatever you want to it, as long as it's all yours. So if you want to use photoshop to color it, throw random filters on it, or ... I don't know, stick it on Giselle... whatever. Have fun, as long as the design is yours.
7. It doesn't need to be shadowed, colored, inked, touched up, or anything. The better it looks, the more it'll jump out, but we'd rather see a really cool, wearable design than a gorgeously rendered muu muu.

No. You don't even need to draw faces.

Okay sorry but I have mroe questions
1 Okay If you draw hair with it, does it count towards the design?
2 Does jewlery count as part of the design?
3 If you are snding in more than one entry, as in totally differnet designs not different views, do you have to send them together?
4 Do wings count in a design?
Thank you

1. No, but if you think it'll help enhance your look, go for it.
2. Yes.
3. No.
4. No. Also, I don't think wings are really... feasible in fashion. If you wore it outside, you might get more than a few weird looks. Probably not too practical on the subway.

I don't really want to bother you with another question, but is it okay to just use my username? I'd prefer my real full name not be posted online, but if I have to use my real name, it's not a big problem.

That's fine. Make a note of it in your submission. If you win, we'll need your full name, and to make the contest legal in some states, your full name will be available to anyone who writes us (by snail mail) to request it.
Regards,

If it's possible to do multipul entries, is it alright to compile designs into one illustration?
Or do they all have to be separate?

I would suppose so. well not like 18 pictures crambed into one. I think if you put like 3 then that might be ok, but i'll check and let u know if u wanna be absolute, okay?
