I wish it would. We got One Piece and Naruto handheld games why not DBZ?

Couple quick nitpicks:

Weirdly, the end of the news article says "Super Butoden" while earlier it says "Cho Butoden" (re: the second game being downloadable). The Super Famicom game title is written as 超 ("chou") with furigana indicating a reading of スーパー ("suupaa"). As such, the name of the game should probably be written in our alphabet as "Super Butoden". The same setup was used for "Super Dragon Ball Z" for arcades/PS2 with "chou" and a "suupaa" reading.

Saying "The franchise debuted on the Super Famicom system..." is a bit misleading, since the franchise itself debuted on the Epoch cassette system with Dragon Dai Hikyou and Famicom with Shenron no Nazo in 1986. If we're talking DBZ-branded specifically, that goes to Kyoushuu! Saiyan on the Famicom in 1990. Obviously the sentence is talking about the "Butoden" series and its debut, but saying "franchise" is, again, a bit (unintentionally) misleading.

Finally, I'm totally perplexed with the title of "Butōden 2D". It's already been reported that the game's name is "Extreme Butoden". It's even there in the V-Jump info you're reporting from, though it's getting chopped off on the right.
