Is Takara Tomy just an all-purpose company? I always associated it with cheap toys.

Stay away from alcohol kids...

  • I think this would be a fun gadget to have. I also hate beer with too much foam, so it wouldnt be for me though. It would be a funny gag to foam up friends beers when they arent looking.

    Especially the Japanese friends who insist on foam being so great. Just keep doing it to their cup so that they are constantly sipping foam. Lets see how much they love foam when they finally get through the foam and start drinking that flattened carbonation (where do you think that foam comes from)

Well, in that case, maybe I'll enjoy my soda drinks as is. Neutral Yes, excessive foaming can be off-putting to the tongue's senses.

As someone who loves the foam on soda and absolutely loves flat soda (carbonation hurts my throat okay), this would be cool!

Japan is really interesting with such technologies. Because I hardly consume alcohol, I can't really say how this would fair to my tastes.

Kinda. The biggest part of their company is toys (which aren't all cheap, I've given them over $100 many, many times) they also have a lab where they come up with a number of really quirky, gimmicky stuff like the ones mentioned in the article.
