So i watched Avengers 2 over the weekend which i even preferred to the first one but the writers decided to give Widow a romance with the Hulk. It´s an absolute showstopper but Johansson was still fun to watch overall and she is clearly a good actress (with a lack of range) who can make even bad material shine as you see above but i would have cast Rinko Kikuchi (34 hm?) if anyone from Hollywood for the Major. I further care more about some of the other section 9 goons as Motoko tends to be used as an avatar at times. Well not in Arise (the parallel manga about Batou is still a bit better) or 2nd Gig.
Who would you cast dear anons? And who should direct/write as i have no clue how to fill these chairs. Maybe J. J. Abrams or Neill Blomkamp / David S. Goyer but this sounds more like popcorn movie and GitS ain´t that. Hm i got nothing. |
