That's a damn tragedy, She was a really talented voice actress, it's a shame we'll never get to hear her voice in anything else ever again

Here's hoping that whoever murdered Ms. Burgess will eventually be brought to justice.
R.I.P. It's a real shame that her voice will never be heard in other shows.

I'm not familiar with the series she acted for... But that's really sad.. And just terrible that someone would do this to another.

Shared it with the community page I'm in and they all feel the same way as you all are. I live in Edmonton which is 3 hours north of Calgary, but it's still shocking that this happened so close to home. May you rest in peace.

It's sad that Mrs. Burgess died. She was at the beginning of her career when she was tragically taken from this life by a sleazebag. She deserved better than this. She deserved a long career as a voice actress. What her husband deserves is a death sentence for what he did. It's a shame that Canada doesn't have a death penalty. Her husband is a prime candidate for it.
RIP Shannon Burgess. You deserved better than this.

Actually a lot a horrific murders (1 ice pick 1 lunatic) and serial killers either make their way to Canada or are from there. It's surprising if you take in that internet perspective on Canada (everyone is super nice and is always saying sorry), but reality is different. Anyways, condolences. Like everyone else had already said, she was too young. Side, note this coincidentally reminded me of the movie Gone Girl. |

Don't know about Canada, but in the U.S. you need a body or some sort of evidence for probable cause to get a search warrant.
Just being missing is not enough. The evil husband probable played this as missing person case, until the police were able to gather enough evidence for a search warrant. |
