Just regular 1,6mln of OP in 3 days. Nothing unusual. But this volume has Zoro's and Luffy's epicness, 10/10 would buy.

One Piece's explosive numbers are here in full force again, but aren't its numbers somewhat lower than the previous volume? IIRC, #77 sold on the first week some 1.8m or something.

BTW, wouldn't it be better to do something similar to the Anime Preview Guide or the Daily Streaming Review, and have all the forum messages of the recurring articles (like Comic Ranking, Video Game Ranking, Blu-Ray Ranking, etc) to be in the same forum? Just a thought Wink

OP #77 in first 3 days had 1,668,225
OP #78 in first 3 days had 1,676,264

So it's even higher : P

Moreover we can see volume #77 still on list on 46th position with 2,851,226 copies after 14 weeks. All Bleach volumes sold in 2,986,968 copies in whole 2014 year. Imagine this precipice. (PS: OP #77 has already 2,658,866 after 4 weeks).

Fumi Yoshinaga has two different manga series on this list (Ooku and What Did You Eat Yesterday?). I can't recall an instance where I've seen this before!

Dressrosa is ending soon, so there are going to be a lot of people wanting to pine for volume 79. Looks like the volumes right now have a pretty set standard, which shouldn't surprise people. After all, this is One Piece we are talking about.

or they still like the series, or they really like the current arc, everyone's opinion is different, I think it improved in some aspects but the Fullbring arc almost killed it for me

Japan is full of one piece tards( Not really an insult you Mod just facts)
Assassination classroom doing good
Bleach is still plummeting
Toriko turned out to be a failure in sales
Seven deadly sins doing great I need to check it out
Basically nothing new same old same old.

[Edit]: please keep it friendly. Criticise manga but don't abuse other fans. Errinundra.

3x3 Eyes one shot sequel is out! Blast from the past! I want to read it.

Glad to see My Love Story! doing well. So we're up to volume 5 and Japan has volume 9. How long 'till we catch up?

This is counting two days of releases. If it moved at the same pace throughout the week(it won't) it would push just south of 800K.

Western fans: If it ain't One Piece or Attack on Titan, it failed miserably.

nah Bleach seems to be that special series that people love to hate on, sure the series plummeted but it's not doing "bad" for a manga that lost it's anime 4 years ago, maybe pierrot should take this as a hint, let the Naruto anime die (the manga is already done) and animated the final arc of Bleach.

No surprised here, the Dressrosa saga is great after all (and after the latest couple of chapters, even who didn't like it has started to reconsider). Cool
