It will also include episodes 13-15

That doesn't seem right...

That's a typo, as 35,000 yen matches the price of the first Blu-Ray box and should contain 13-25, as the second cour has the epilogue episode they mention. Even Japan's unlikely to charge that much for three 25-minute episodes.

So unnecessary...

They need to boost sales somehow. Saber is the most popular so including an end with her would attract fans.

Hopefully they'll animate one of Heaven's Feel Bad Ends, Sparks Liner Works!

I wish they animated all of the VN's bad ends Very Happy

Or rather, I wish the studios animated more bad ends overall (as DVD/BD extras, of course). Little Busters had some cool bad endings.

$282!?! I don't understand Japan.

It has always been like that for 1-cour series.

It's a lot better than buying at ¥80-90 per dollar. I remember BD 1-cours in '11 costing me over $400. But yeah I get what you are saying that it is expensive. No one can deny that.

That's because people get the imports, the localized release is always a lot cheaper. Just look at the imports for F/Z, the imports for 1 cour of F/Z are still around 300 dollars iirc. The localized release for 1 cour from aniplex is about 150 dollars dubs and subs included.
The imports also come with a lot more though, including booklets and translation booklets. I don't know much about quality differences between them.
The soundtracks cost, the booklets cost, and all those costs are included in the blu-ray boxes. Which is why they're expensive.

I guess it's for the Saber fans who were disappointed by the lack of appearances in the final episode? or because they're simply not going to do the Fate route(it's a good thing Studio Deen already did it and don't get me started on the sub par UBW movie)

Actually, it's pretty common in works with alternate endings, for the alternate endings to be offered as bonuses on the home release. Heck, even the movie Clue includes all 3 endings on the VHS and DVD releases!
