I saw it on Tuesday with a sold-out audience. It was such a fun experience. The action & fight scenes made the time fly by real fast. I can't wait for it to be released on DVD/Blu-ray so that I can watch it again in it's original Japanese audio.

Isn't Digimon: The Movie at like $9,000,000? And considering how some theaters are still showing, it may sneak up to eighth place.

Metal: I just hope it doesn't beat Spirited Away.

I was extremely lucky to find out at the last second that it was playing just an hour away. I had checked before but it looked like it wasn't.

I'm glad I went to see it. I thought it was going to be terrible, garbage to be frank. But it wasn't. So i'm happy

Meanwhile, in my country (which I shant disclose) is playing stupid low-class trash like Vacation and Cop Car. This is an experience I'll never have.

This is really good for anime at the box office. Now, get to the $20,000,00+ million mark and that it can make a lot more people happy.

I really enjoyed the movie, but I actually liked Battle of the Gods better. While Resurrection had some great combat and excellent humor, I appreciated how BotG expanded the Dragon Ball universe, whereas RoF mostly rehashed old territory.

Very much looking forward to seeing how Dragon Ball Super addresses these films and eventually moves past them.

Interesting that the United States limited release is actually pretty close to the Japanese wide release gross over the same period of time.

Maybe it's time these movies saw a wide release. Or not--probably prohibitively expensive.
