I'm with you on this. The voices sounded forced in the trailer and I don't think it matched with their characters. The trailer could've done a lot better.

Sure the dub is horrible, but the series always seems to be towards the top of Crunchyroll's popular list, even though it isn't made available for free in Europe. It's got to be getting big numbers somewhere...

Is this why they won't let Funimation license and dub Dragon Ball Super? They want to make their own dubs?

@Mr.Shonen: I don't know what to think of a Blue Water's dub overall quality because I haven't really seen one in its entirety.

Nothing about Toei's behaviour suggests they won't let FUNimation have DBS, FUNi just doesn't have it yet/isn't streaming it. They aren't streaming Kai either, so it seems like it could be a strategic move from Toei.

As I said before, this seems to be a "shit, none of our international partners are buying World Trigger, what can we do to try and reignite interest?"-type deal.

Warner Bros. did it with JoJo's, only for their US arm to buy the series off them. (Although, as I understand it, the reason JoJo's hasn't sold in much of the world is because Warner JP aren't ready or won't sell it, rather than a lack of interest.)

Well, this is Toei - they don't go for small fries. They're a big company, so they go big or just go home.

if it sounds like that, than no doubt. hell some good voice acting would be the last thing saving this show.
