Ah, I was kind of hoping the Atto-designed anime would turn out to be an adaptation of Koakuma Meringue (even though there's not much manga to adapt).

Cool, I love Non Non Biyori. Even if he's just designing characters, I imagine production committees do this in part for marketing to say "Hey, if you're a fan of this guy's work, check this out, you'll like it too."
If it has dolphins, I just hope they don't get slaughtered like in the Taiji dolphin hunt. |

It's too early to say, but, if I were in charge of making a marine-themed anime that would appeal to Non Non Biyori fans, I'd set it in a small town on a small island like Okinoshima, which is on remote Dougo Island in the Oki Island archipelago north of Shimane Prefecture (which it is a part of) in western Honshu. |

A water park or marina anime likely would mean lots of cute girls in swimsuits which could mean a clumsy male protagonist is involved.
