I'm sure it'll be big in West Hollywood. Anyway, this makes me wish for a Japanese remake of Ed Wood.

Indeed, ruins the "effect" of it all doesn't it?

Quite frankly, I'd love to see my friends' and family's reactions. Can only go well, right?

10/10 would get trapped
I wonder how comfortable is it is really. Fabric looks really soft, but you never know until you give it a go. Kinda curious. Definitely would be tempted if I felt I had more money laying around.

This is probably someone's fetish somewhere. That's the first thing that came to mind.

Some guys can pull it off, some can't. I remember another article about the 42 y/o old TM Revolution singer dressing as Kyary Kyary Pyamu and he did it really well; even Kyary herself was like 'ah I'm jealous!' lol A quick search through visual kei artists yield some.. interesting results lol |
I also remember way back when, during the Geocities era of the Internet, I found out about this guy who could pull off an oddly convincing Britney Spears, at least as long as he stayed silent.
Unfortunately, he never took the opportunity to appear on a hidden camera show to flirt with guys, maybe with a fake agent who would've mentioned a sore throat, then remove his wig to freak them out.

For reasons.

The comments on this article are pure comic gold. Couldn't stop myself from laughing and giggling.

"How want to be beautiful, hast to suffer!".. Then you see that this is true in some cases

I've always wondered about that when I watch anime with girls wearing very short skirts in winter-y enviroments (like, for instance, Kanon.) My thoughts tend to be along the lines of "Jesus, that's gotta be cold!" or "Those girls are pretty tough."

What would a real-life Hideyoshi from Baka and Test be like in this?

That's what happens when people who don't wear skirts, draw them anyway
But if more guys wear stuff like this, that might change. Or not...

Except, as mentioned above, girls and women in Japan do that in real life too. It's something I've always wondered too, considering I live in an area where girls and women predominantly wear long pants (and we have a warm climate) and skirts and dresses are seen as too lacking in attitude and edge.
