Correct me if I'm mistaken, but does this meant the series was canceled? If that's not the case, its run as a series seems especially short.

Cancelled. It's no surprise really; it had terrible rankings from the start. I haven't read it so I don't know if it was good or not, but another series bites the dust.

This author seems to be a master of making charming manga that get axed incredibly soon and incredibly hard. Sad

Might be better for him to try on another magazine.

If I was him, if my 3rd series got cancelled that soon, I'd just resort to a web manga platform. I think with that you could at least get more fans. If they made an anime of his cancelled series, then maybe he could get the necessary fanbase to have a more successful series.

I've read the beginning of it. It's not bad, but it has nothing that really stands out to me either. And I think that's why it failed: Every series in WSJ that have evaded cancellation have something noteworthy about their storytelling or premise in some way. It's tough competition.
