I went on two week-long school trips in primary school (to Summerhouse Bay and Butlins, and there was a third I skipped (to Flat Holm Island.)
They were optional and couldn't accommodate the whole year (I changed my mind about Flat Holm, but it was already booked out) and had to be paid for. The closest thing in High School was the Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme. |
