Goddammit, saw the image of Shimoneta LN and I thought it was being licensed. Then I read the title and my hopes were destroyed.

Since the series won't be to long it would be nice for yen press lisence the light novels.

But didn't the anime sell like crap? I don't know if the novels got a significant boost from the anime, but iirc the DVD/BDs barely made 2k average? Doesn't seem like it has a high chance of getting a S2

Yeah it didn't sell well at all. And with Anna's VA being dead, I doubt they would want to go out of their way to find a replacement.
