Hopefully this means they have plans to release the other games too.

Not to interested in getting a remaster since I already own the PS3 and PC versions of this game, unless it includes new content. I hope the PC version sold well enough for them, would really like to see the other ones end up on here.

They only didn't release one game, the third one. I'd definitely be interested in buying that if they remastered it though.

yeah would like to see VC 2 & 3 get put on Steam (it's not unheard of for PSP games to get a steam port right?)

Actually, you're totally correct! Ys, Legend of Heroes and even Gurumin have gotten Steam ports, so it wouldn't be out of the question!

Hell yes, a gorgeous game with a beautiful story definitely one from the previous generation that is deserving of a remaster. The gameplay mechanics were fun and interesting too, which made for a really enjoyable experience. Still I was pretty surprised when SEGA announced it, really thought this would fall into the 'it's never gonna happen' category.

It's great news there's a possibility of VC: Remastered coming to the west now, plus with the added bonus of trophies as well. I remember one of the things fans requested most from the original was trophy support, but it never did happen.

If you've never played it, you really should. But even if you've bought VC twice already you should definitely consider triple dipping because it's just that good of a game (IMO). Very Happy

Hopefully this also means the new game they've got in development will see the light of day over here too.

Ys Chronicles, Ys Origin, Ys Oath, Sora no Kiseki FC and SC, and Gurumin were all PC games to begin with. The PSP version were ports.

Valkyria Chronicles 2 maybe, but Valkyria Chronicles 3 was never localized so it's a no go

Damn, am I the only who couldn't get over the fact at how freakishly yellow that guy teeth were in that video?

Anyway, hopefully it does come to the west because I sure as hell didn't play much of the first game (even though I had it on PS3 and have it now on PC).
