It's been awhile since I saw an anime she's been in, but I never forgot how bubbly and ditzy she sounded as Mihoshi in all the Tenchi Muyo shows that always made me smile. And then to later find out she voiced Luchs in Sabre Marionette J just made me realize how wide her range was, to do a character that was diametrically opposite.

I'll really miss her. RIP

My God! Sad

I loved her Pinoko and most of her voices!

RIP Mizutani Yuko!

Dang.
I was just thinking of how soothing she sounded as Iris. I'll have to get some Tenchi to honor her.
Now her death as Miyuki Aiba is even more tragic. :'(

RIP Sora (Digimon), Kotone (Yoma), Mihoshi (Tenchi), Anri (Bubblegum Crisis), Marie (Nadia), and Asura (Angel Cop). I didn't hear too many of your prominent roles, but I liked what I heard. Wish your relatives and friends the best. Sayonara.

Just really sad. Mihoshi and Pinoko were definitely memorable roles. I liked her as Akatana (the bright, cheery one) and Katana (the cold, detached one) in "Project X Zone", as well as reprising Iris from "Megaman X".

In her self introduction video, even though she was promoting her radio talk shows and her album, she seemed like a humble, down to earth girl. We'll definitely miss that.

It just baffles me that in a country where the life expectancy is one of the highest, people are dying young from cancer. It's happened to Tomoko Kawakami, Chieko Honda and now Yuko. I just don't understand--this dying so young needs to stop.

Man, 2016 is now a really sad time for Digimon fans as we keep losing a lot of great talent that has been taken away far too soon! Once again, screw you Cancer!

R.I.P., Yuko
