Given the synopsis and the characters, I think it would be similar to the French animated franchise Once Upon a Time...

They could have afforded at least one female historical figure. Hedy LaMarr, Marie Curie, Ada Lovelace....

Aside from a female scientist missing, I'm disappointed that Tesla isn't on the list. Maybe the show will reference him in the Edison episode?
